Create your own patterns!!
There's nothing I enjoy more than making patterns for curtains, scarves, dish towels, whatever! This fall I'm teaching an 8 week course that will teach students how to turn their favorite images, colors, inspiration, etc... into patterns for the home. Below are some samples of inspiration, sketches and a final pattern (all topics that we will cover and explore in class):

ReplyDeleteThe Class is Advanced Screenprinting on Fabric Mondays 6:30 to 9:30.
ReplyDeletejust a question. when it says advanced does that just mean that it is more in depth or does that mean there are prerequisites. I consider myself pretty crafty and have done some basic screenprinting on my own, but never taken an actual course. But I would LOVE to take this class. What do you think?
