CRASH COURSE in Printing with Thickened Dyes (5 Weeks)
Lillstreet is offering a new 5 week class on printing with thickened dyes. This is great for students who just want to dive in and already have basic screenprinting knowledge. You may just want to toss those acrylic inks to the side once you learn this technique!

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Know how to screenprint with inks and want to check out the world of dyes? This fast-paced class uses Procion dyes to print on natural fabrics including silk and cotton. Mono-print to create unique disintegrating repeats and loose, painterly patterns. Many different print sources will be used including block printing, screenprinting, and direct printing. Bring your own pair of rubber dishwashing gloves to the first night of class. Pre-requisite: First Time or Beginning Screenprint on Fabric. Enrolled students have access to facilities during weekly open studio hours.
